Ilise Dorsky

I am a native New Yorker, who has transplanted to Henderson Nevada for the time being. My mother instilled in me a love for reading at an early age. This has resulted in a lifelong habit.

“Little Girl Lost” is a book of fiction but based on real stories of families struggling with addiction. I have seen with my own eyes the strain addiction has placed on family and friends. Too many people have had this experience and have had nowhere to go. Unfortunately, addiction isn’t talked about. We need to break this cycle and help those in need.

I was fortunate enough to be able to meet some of the people depicted in this book to be able to tell these stories.

Thank you for sharing what I can only imagine as being a terribly painful time.
